Australia, NSW near Oberon. A small mound in very easy to till soil. Note the Radiata pine regeneration in the background. Each tree was destroyed or severely damaged by the VH Mulcher prior to an intended spray program. 420 spots per acre over several blocks with an average slope of 25%, each block was similar and closeby. They averaged $.40 per spot. This was an hourly hire contract. A brief time study indicated that 5.5 spots per minute was consistent.
